These 2 to 3 metre tall anthills can be found roughly every hundred meters on the road between Injinoo and Bamaga. There was a colourful bird perched on this one but it flew away before i managed to take a photo of it.

Damn the bird would have given it great perspective. If you were game enough you should have stood next to it...but then again you probably would have been eaten alive or carried away. Great colour though.
